Young loner Fabietto (Filippo Scotti) retreats to books and the television to watch Maradona play for his local club team. Under the arm of his older brother Marchino (Marlon Joubert), he paves his way for adulthood before that path is upheaved. 

Paolo Sorrentino's personal coming-of-age tale won two awards at the Venice Film Festival, including the Grand Jury Prize.
