The career of now Professor Emerita Margaret Doody, formerly the John and Barbara Glynn Family Professor of Literature and the first Director of the Ph.D. in Literature Program, will be celebrated at the conference The "True Story" Of Literature on Friday, May 6 from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm in the English Department Commons area of Decio Faculty Hall. 

Sponsored by the Department of English with support from the Departments of Theology, Philosophy, Romance Languages and Literatures, the Seminar in Eighteenth and Nineteenth-century Studies, Institute for Scholarship in the Liberal Arts, and the Nanovic Institute for European Studies.
