Virtual Lecture: “What, If Anything, Is Europe? And Who Is European?” with Nanovic Faculty Fellow Felipe Fernández-Armesto

-

Location: Online

Professor Felipe Fernández-Armesto

Europe´s impossible to define without exciting objections. Europeans are hard to profile without offending somebody or everybody. So in European studies do we literally not know what we're talking about? Felipe Fernández-Armesto looks at what Europe has meant to people in the past, what it means to those who contest the term now, and what it might come to mean in the future.
