George Predescu, the new Ambassador of Romania to Poland, will be visiting the University of Notre Dame on this one day. He is closely connected to the National Polish Council and has expertise in international government relations and security and defense issues. He has previously served as the consul general of Romania in Chicago and as the Deputy Head of NATO and International Security Affairs Division at the Romanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as well as in other diplomatic positions. The Nanovic Institute for European Studies would like to introduce him to members of the university community in the hopes that there may be future opportunities for collaboration.
