Conference: Witnessing Genocide: Truth, Reconciliation and the Media. The conference will feature Juan Mendez, the former Special Adviser to the UN Secretary-General on the Prevention of Genocide and Thane Rosenbaum, writer, law professor, and human rights advocate. The conference will also feature Holocaust survivors, journalists, writers, and experts as Notre Dame takes a look on how genocide is witnessed and recoreded for posterity. The conference will take place at the University of Notre Dame on April 6th & 7th.
