János Barcsák is Senior Lecturer in English Studies at Pázmány Péter Catholic University in Hungary. While at Notre Dame during the summer of 2014, he conducted research toward the completion of a book which focuses on the problem of reference. He is studying the problem of artistic and literary representation, analyzing the works of Paul de Man and Jacques Derrida.
