Andrea Božekova was a visiting scholar at the Nanovic Institute for European Studies during the summer of 2012. While at the University of Notre Dame, Andrea researched "Civic Culture, Mass-Media and Democracy: Explorations from the Catholic perspective: The Case of Slovakia," a project dealing with the problem of the relationship between civic community, civic culture, and the mass media from the Catholic perspective.
