Bernhard Schlink, German writer and professor of law, was invited to give the 2011 Nanovic Forum Lecture. He delivered a lecture entitled “Proportionality in Constitutional Law: Why Everywhere but Here?” Schlink’s research focuses on the principle of proportionality in comparative constitutionalism. He has also served as Constitutional Court Judge.
