Emily Locher is General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer of Capstone Investment Advisors, LLC, a global alternative investment management firm operating across a broad range of derivatives-based strategies with a deep understanding of volatility. In her role, Emily provides oversight and counsel to Capstone in connection with the firm’s legal, compliance and regulatory obligations.
Before joining Capstone in 2022, Emily served as General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer for an advisory firm that provided advice and portfolio management to families, foundations and endowments. Prior to that role, Emily served as Deputy General Counsel of AQR Capital Management, LLC. Emily has also held positions at AIG Global Investment Group and Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld. Emily began her career at Soros Fund Management.
Emily lives in Connecticut with her husband Marc.
