Jacek Furdyna, professor of physics at the University of Notre Dame and faculty fellow with the Nanovic Institute, has been awarded the Nicolaus Copernicus Medal by the Polish Academy of Sciences in Warsaw, Poland. The medal is the Academy’s highest honor.
