Fr. Bogusław Migut  joins the Institute during the fall 2015 semester from the John Paul II Catholic University (KUL) in Lublin, Poland. Ordained in 1984, Fr. Migut earned his doctorate and habilitation in liturgical theology at KUL, where he directs the Institute of Liturgy and Homiletics and chairs the faculty of Liturgical Theology and Spirituality. He has held visiting positions at Italian and German universities in Padua, Rome, Münster, and Trier. Fr. Migut focuses his research on Roman and Orthodox sacramental liturgical theologies, Catholic education, and pilgrimages such as the Camino de Santiago. At Notre Dame, he explored "the American school" of liturgical theology with Prof. David Fagerberg (Theology) and edited a book-length treatment of the subject in Polish. Fr. Migut will also lead a group of twenty students with Prof. Fagerberg on a study trip to Poland during fall break.
