Dominika Ruszkiewicz is an assistant professor in the Department of English Language and Culture at the Jesuit University Ignatianum in Kraków. She holds a doctoral degree in literary studies from the Pedagogical University of Kraków. Her research interests are human character, morality, liturgy, and prayer in medieval literature, and she has written on Middle English and Scottish poetry and the history of litanic verse. While at Notre Dame, Ruszkiewicz continued her book research on Chaucer and spiritual exercises in the framework of religion, philosophy, and the self.
