Senior Research and Partnerships Program Manager

Morgan serves as the senior research and partnerships program manager for the Nanovic Institute for European Studies, directing and supporting research initiatives and partnerships so that the Institute and its partners are able to realize ambitious research goals. She also manages several important Institute programs, including the prestigious Laura Shannon Book Prize. Prior to joining the Nanovic Institute in 2023, Morgan served the Notre Dame Institute for Advanced Study as a postdoctoral fellow.

A Triple Domer, Morgan received a bachelor's degree in Neuroscience & Behavior (2017) and a master's degree (2020) and doctorate degree (2022) in Psychology/Cognitive Neuroscience. Her research interests lie at the intersections of bias, information processing, memory consolidation, and decision-making. Morgan also has a passion for science policy and developed a fellowship program that places STEM graduate students into Indiana state executive agencies as expert consultants.

Outside of work, Morgan loves engaging in musical pursuits (she’s currently trying to learn the cornet and accordion) and spending time with her husband and newborn son.
