Susan is Senior Vice President and Chief Counsel at MetLife in New York City. In this role, Susan leads the legal functions for Global Technology & Operations, Employment Law, Employment Benefits and Tax, Corporate Real Estate and Procurement, Cybersecurity and Information Governance. Prior to joining MetLife in 1995, Susan practiced law in Pennsylvania, including at her family’s firm, Nanovic Law Offices. Susan grew up in Palmerton, Pennsylvania, in a fiercely-devoted Notre Dame family, as her father, three brothers and two sisters (among other family members) graduated from Notre Dame and St. Mary’s College. Susan and her husband John have two children. They reside in Chappaqua and East Hampton, NY, and enjoy swimming, golfing and cycling.
