Susan succeeded her father to become President of Union Deposit Corporation, a commercial real estate development firm in 2011. Prior to UDC, Susan was with Motorola, Inc. for ten years where she held various key investment, venture and strategy roles. Most recently, Susan ran Corporate Development for Motorola's Mobile Device business. There, she led the team responsible for evaluating and executing acquisitions, joint ventures, investments and divestitures globally. Susan was integral in conceiving the strategy and creating the structure to spin off Motorola's Mobile Device business, resulting in two independent publicly traded companies, Motorola Mobility Inc. (NYSE: MMI, acquired by Google) and Motorola Solutions Inc. (NYSE: MSI). Susan began her career with Bear Stearns where she was a Vice President and Trader working on unique structured fixed income transactions. She has served on various start up boards and is a trustee of The Alexander and Jane Starke Boyd Foundation. She is a co-founder of the Nativity School in Harrisburg, a faith based preparatory middle school for low income, inner city boys. Susan lives in Boston with her husband Mark and two children.
