Embarking on the Nanovic Institute's Catholic Leadership Program at the University of Notre Dame, I found myself on a journey that was both enriching and transformative, far beyond my roles and expectations. As the Director of the Master's Program in theology at Ukrainian Catholic University (UCU), the tailored focus on management skills, strategic planning, and philanthropy development spoke directly to the needs and timing of my professional path. The guidance from Monica Caro, Clemens Sedmak, Ti Lavers, and Father P. Friedrich Bechina, among others, was not merely instructional but deeply inspirational.

What truly marked this experience, however, was the opportunity to forge connections and friendships with peers from various Catholic universities worldwide. This program created a unique platform for us to exchange stories and challenges, as well as to brainstorm solutions that were deeply embedded in our shared Catholic values. The diversity of perspectives and life experiences enriched every discussion, creating vibrant dialogues that extended beyond the formal program schedule. I hold dear the relationships fostered with colleagues from Sulkhan-Saba Orbeliani University and John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin. Viewing Catholic leadership through their experiences opened my eyes to new insights and warmed my heart. These bonds have since blossomed into a support network that fosters a continuous exchange of ideas and strategies, illustrating the enduring impact of our collective experience. This aspect of collaboration stands as a testament to the program's profound influence on us, underscoring its role in broadening our professional horizons and weaving tight-knit personal connections across the globe.

The insights and friendships I've gained from this program are treasures that will shape my approach to leadership for many years ahead.

The spiritual moments shared (such as participating in daily Mass at the All Saints Chapel) and the group visit to Four Winds Field provided spaces for reflection and joy. These experiences added a rich layer of spiritual depth and human connection to the program’s academic rigor.

I am immensely grateful to the Nanovic Institute, the distinguished speakers, and the supportive staff for curating such a comprehensive and inspiring program. This adventure has been nothing short of transformative, fostering my professional development and reinforcing my commitment to lead with compassion, respect, and a vision that transcends individual ambitions. The insights and friendships I've gained from this program are treasures that will shape my approach to leadership for many years ahead.
