Student Programs Assistant Director

Anna Dolezal oversees student programs for the Nanovic Institute for European Studies. Anna is the advisor for undergraduates in the Minor in European Studies and the Concentration in Transnational European Studies within the Keough School's Supplementary Major in Global Affairs. Anna oversees the Institute's EURO curriculum development and coordinates the Institute's suite of undergraduate and graduate grant programs. Anna teaches one of the institute's introductory courses, "Europe in Context" and serves as the advisor and instructor for the Institute's Midwest Model EU delegation. Additionally, Anna has co-led Institute research projects on the Western Balkans, COVID-19, and European responses to U.S. elections.

With a bachelor's degree in international studies from the University of Idaho and a master's in international and European politics from the University of Edinburgh, Anna brings a deep understanding of contemporary European affairs to the Institute coupled with a passion for facilitating transformative, educational experiences for students in Europe and at Notre Dame.
