Nanovic Sponsored Summer Ph.D. Student Residency Program
The Nanovic Institute for European Studies is sponsoring up to two Ph.D. students in the humanities at Notre Dame to attend a Summer Residency program at the National Humanities Center in Durham, North Carolina.
The 2020 Residency Program focuses on the process of translating research into practice. Students are given guidance on how to create meaningful learning experiences for any audience level. Participants will have the opportunity to work with colleagues from different universities and disciplines, enriching their network of humanities professionals. More information about the Residency can be found on the National Humanities Center website here.
Applications are due by January 27th, 2020. Applicants will be notified of their acceptance to the program in February. The National Humanities Center Summer Residency will take place between July 6 – 17th 2020.
To apply to this program complete the Nanovic Graduate Grant Application here. In your application please include a 1 – 2-page letter of interest clearly detailing how the NHC Summer Residency Program will serve your academic and professional advancement and how your research contributes to European studies.
