Symposium on "German Histories in the Age of Reformations, 1400-1650"

The symposium will a discussion of the most recent, important book by Thomas A. Brady, Jr. (ND Class of ’59), Professor in the Graduate School at UC-Berkeley. The book is German Histories in the Age of Reformations, 1400-1650 (Cambridge, 2009). The three discussants at the symposium are H. C. Erik Midelfort (University of Virginia), Sigrun Haude (University of Cincinnati), and John Frymire (University of Missouri). Each discussant will speak for a few minutes, Brady will respond, and then there will be time for questions from the audience.
