Michael (Mykhailo) Petrowycz teaches liturgical theology at the Ukranian Catholic University in Lviv, Ukraine. While at Notre Dame during the summer of 2014, he conducted research towards a book on the role of the laity in the liturgy in the Byzantine tradition.
