Manuel Orio Salgado from the University CEU San Pablo Madrid was a visiting scholar during summer 2005. The publication La identidad de Europea Tradicion clasica y modernidad (2008) features his article Apromixmacion filosofica al ethos europeo. He credits his time at the Nanovic Institute for European Studies as instrumental to this publication.
Veronika Schandl, assistant professor of English at Pazamany Peter Catholic University, spent the spring of 2007 at the Nanovic Institute researching performance criticisim and European Shakespearean productions. Her paper, Silence, ‘Doublespeak’ and Reading Between the Lines: Two Productions of Measure for Measure in Late Socialist Hungary, was recently published in the prestigious Shakesepeare Jahrbuch in 2008.
