Language Club Support Grant

Applications will re-open for 2017-18 funding in August 2017.

The Nanovic Institute encourages the study of European languages at the University of Notre Dame. Language club officers should submit a short proposal outlining a program of club activities for the year, and a follow-up report by the end of the academic year. The institute will help publicize club events and will provide support for events scheduled in Brownson Hall.

Eligible Clubs

French, German, Italian, Polish, Russian, Spanish, and Portuguese, though new clubs are encouraged to participate as long as they are officially recognized by the Office of Student Activities and an academic department.

Deadline

April 3, 2017. Applications will be accepted at any time during the academic year up until the deadline. (Funds have been exhausted for 2016-17).

Maximum Award

$500. Funds are typically paid as a one-time sum.

Number of Awards

Multiple. Grants will be awarded based on merit until allocated funds for the fiscal year have been exhausted.
