"Inside the Financial and Administrative changes at the Vatican: What Pope Francis Wants and Why He is Doing It"

Joseph Zahra, vice-coordinator of the Council for the Economy for the Holy See will be coming to campus to give a lecture sponsored by the Office of Mission Engagement and Church Affairs and the Mendoza College of Business.

Zahra will be introduced by Cardinal Theodore McCarrick, Archbishop Emeritus of Washington, D.C.

A reception will follow in the Eck Visitors Center.

This spring, the Nanovic Institute for European Studies will host Jean-Baptiste de Franssu, president of the Istituto per le Opere di Religione (the Institute for Works of Religion) as the 2016 Terrence R. Keeley Vatican Lecturer.

Mr. de Fransuu was appointed as the president of the institute (more commonly known as the Vatican Bank) by the Holy See in July 2014.
