This searing drama from French master Philippe Garrel (Regular Lovers) examines the once-happy marriage between brooding painter Frederic (Louis Garrel, the director’s son) and his movie-star wife Angele (Monica Bellucci) as it hits the rocks. When another young couple joins them on a Roman holiday, tensions and passions flare. Featuring a haunting score by the Velvet Underground’s John Cale.
